Ricky Gervais Los Angeles, Apr 29 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Ricky Gervais is all set to be the host of 68th Golden Globe Awards ceremony in 2011. He was the host of the show this year, and was such a success that the organizers want him back next year too.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association, Dick Clark Production, and NBC announced the host of the upcoming 68th Golden Globes Award ceremony on Wednesday morning. The announcement does come in pretty early, even though the actual ceremony is on the 16th of January 2011, and it would be held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

Ricky Gervais was quite amazed when he learnt that he is going to be the host all over again. He said to Ryan Seacrest on his 102.7 KISS-FM radio show, “I suppose it is flattering, to be honest, and it was a surprise. I had so much fun. I’m going to go all out this time. I’m going to make sure they’ve never going to invite me back!”

Ricky Gervais is also going to star in a new show about dwarfs, which has been very appropriately titled ‘Life’s Too Short’. His ‘Extras’ co-star Warwick Davis would also be a part of the new project. Warwick Davis is a dwarf himself. This new sitcom would enable the audience to have a peek in his world, and the challenges that he faces daily.
