Oct 22, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The famous radio personality Rickey Smiley is known for his comic timings and ability to throw his audiences into fits of laughter. His show “Rickey and Friends” held last week at the civic center in Tallahassee [the capital in the state of Florida] kept the audiences as entertained as they could have been in any Rickey Smiley show. The show saw Rickey indulge in a lot of Church inspired humor that saw the crowd asking for more. He was at his entertaining best, with his amazing sense of comic timings that was immensely enjoyed by the audiences.

The stand up comedian, who hosts the popular radio program of “Rickey Smiley Morning Show” has established himself as a comedian with a clean sense of humor. His comedy is such that it can be enjoyed by people of all age groups. The show allows Rickey to impersonate various distinct characters such as the gossip monger Bernice Jenkins and her best friend Ms. Cora, which have become hugely popular among his fans. Although, he began his career by performing at small comedy clubs in his hometown Alabama, gradually he began to be known as the master of comedy, especially with his famous prank telephone calls where he would talk to anybody picking up his call.

Smiley also hosted BET’s popular comedy series which resulted in the show gathering the highest number of viewership and it ruled the ratings for weeks. He also did a number of other comedy shows on TV and is also credited for releasing many comedy CD’s that have been enormously enjoyed by the public. Last week’s show with its church inspired humor also reportedly went down well with the sensitive church.
