May 13, 2010 (Sampurn Wire):”Rhyme Skool” a music CD of Saregama Music was recently launched by Saregama’s Apurva Nagpal along with Oscar winning music director A. R. Rahman and the gorgeous Katrina Kaif. The CD launch was held in Mumbai at the 5-star hotel “Intercontinental The Lalit”. On this occasion Saregama’s CEO Apurva Nagpal “I am very happy to launch the music CD of “The Rhyme Skool”. The launch of this CD was possible only due to the efforts taken by A. R. Rahman and Katrina Kaif. It was a joint initiative taken by all of us to launch a music CD only for kids. I am very thankful to both them and I owe it to them.

A.R. Rahman also spoke to the media, he was asked “Tell us something about your experience in composing music for a kids’ music CD? He answered “First let me tell you that I have not composed the music in this CD. The music has been composed by my students. When they composed the music they waited for my approval and asked my guidance for it. But let me tell you the music was very melodious and I really loved it. I have a lot of expectations from my students and I am confident that even though it is a kid’s music album, the music will loved by people of all age groups. Saregama is a one of its kind’s music company who releases such melodious music for the kids. I feel very much honored to be associated on such a great initiative take up by Saregama.”

And last but not the least the media spoke to the gorgeous Katrina Kaif who is admired not only by the kids but also by the adults’. She has given the commentary in “Rhyme Skool” CD. She quoted “When I was launching this CD I remembered my own childhood. I am very happy that I am playing a part in entertaining the children and it makes me very proud to be associated with this project. The music is simply amazing because it was composed under the guidance of a world renowned music composer like A.R .Rahman and his very talented students.”

A.R Rahman called all his students on stage and introduced them to everyone.
