Review Of ‘Mad Men’ Season 4 Finale

October 19, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): The Season 4 finale of ‘Mad Men’ was aired recently and it was perhaps one of the most beautiful episodes which showed Don Draper at peace with himself. Don’s relationships with women have never been perfect. Finally it seems that Don has found his perfect life partner in Megan.
In the finale episode we get to see Don going to California with his kids and Megan. California is the magical place for Don as he had a nice life with Anna back there. Apparently Don needs Megan to take care of the kids because Betty (as cold and heartless as ever) has fired Carla. So during this episode we get to see Don falling in love with Megan and proposing marriage to her (Megan responds in the affirmative).
Megan is a better human being than Sally and she will be a perfect partner to Don. Both Jon Hamm and Jessica Pare acted beautifully and their chemistry was wonderful. Later Don comes back to the office and breaks the news to everyone. Everyone is happy for Don’s new love except Peggy, who feels like a pawn.
Joan, on the other hand, decides to keep her baby, but she does not inform others about her decision. At the end, we see Don and Megan asleep in Don’s apartment. It remains to be seen if Don will reveal his true story to Megan. This season finale was perhaps one of the best in the history of the show.
