London, July 29 (IANS) Pop diva Madonna has written a song for ex-husband Guy Ritchie, triggering speculation that the couple may get back together.
The singer, who divorced the British film director earlier this year after almost eight years of marriage, wrote down a song about a couple who loved, fought and loved again, raising speculation that they are set to reconcile, reported contactmusic.com.

Madonna has even ordered a special personalised rifle for Guy’s birthday in September.

“Madonna has met few people in her life she truly respects and one of them is Guy. Forgetting everything else, she admires his intellect and cares about what he thinks. No one ever expected they could go from lovers to enemies and then back to incredibly close friends,” said a source.

Guy’s friends have also claimed that he still refers to Madonna as if they are married. “He’ll often say, ‘My wife is in great shape’,” said a source.
