NBC is perpetrating some modifications in its mid-season time-table that have engendered additional postponement for ‘Law & Order: Los Angeles’ , which is an offshoot of ‘Law & Order’. ‘Law & Order: Los Angeles’ has already experienced a pause of two months and now is not going to reemerge on February 8 as initially planned. In its place, the network will establish a fresh date and articulate it later.
Hence, it follows that ‘Parenthood’ will depart from its timeslot on Mondays of 10/9c and penetrate ‘Law & Order: Los Angeles’s 10/9c timeslot on Tuesdays. ‘Parenthood’s’ initial timeslot will continue to have the fresh series, ‘Harry’s Law’, which has been attracting sizable viewers.
The rationale behind ‘Law & Order: Los Angeles’ being delayed has not been supplied, notwithstanding which NBC has remarked that it is satisfied with the show’s ratings. The creative squadron of ‘Law & Order: Los Angeles’ lately executed a role-shuffle, in which Skeet Ulrich disappeared and Alfred Molina’s character was altered from assistant district attorney to police detective. Terrence Howard can then manage to come into sight every week as the assistant district attorney.
In its mid-season pronouncement of its schedule, the Peacock also vocalized that the fresh contest series, ‘America’s Next Great Restaurant,’ will debut on March 6 in place of March 16. Also, ‘The Marriage Ref’ , which was listed to resurface for its second season on March 6, will reappear in the schedule at a subsequent date.
Eight episodes were telecast of ‘Law & Order: Los Angeles’ from September and December. A source has asserted that the ‘The Marriage Ref’, which is a program in which warring twosomes express their ‘soiled laundry’ in front of celebrity adjudicators, could be attached anywhere in the schedule. The ‘America’s Next Great Restaurant’, however, needs to be served in successive helpings for positive results.
NBC, in the matter of the sitcom, ‘Seinfeld’, had permitted nearly 12 months to proceed prior to telecasting the sitcom’s second episode in 1990 as a component of a second season of four episodes. The show, nevertheless, went on to be massively successful.
