Resse Witherspoon & Robert Pattinson to present the Country Music Awards
March 23rd, 2011 - 9:50 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, Mar 23 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Robert Pattinson and Reese Witherspoon have been confirmed as award presenters at the Country Music Awards.
The 46th Academy of Country Music Awards would be held in April and performers billed to entertain during the event include Martina McBride, Zac Brown Band, Toby Keith, Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood, Sara Evans, Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, and Jason Aldean.
People Magazine reports that the event would be hosted by Reba McEntire and Blake Shelton. American Idol host Ryan Seacrest and Nancy O’Dell have all agreed to present the event.
Witherspoon and Pattinson recently starred in the movie “Water for Elephant”. The pair played the role of lovers in the movie. The movie is set to hit the theaters in the United States very soon.
The Academy of Country Music Awards would be held in Las Vegas on the 3rd of April. The event would be aired on CBS from 8 pm. The nominees for the entertainer of the year as the event’s tradition dictates are required to perform at the event.
The nominees for the entertainer of the year award are; Jason Aldean, Toby Keith, Miranda Lambert, Brad Paisley, Taylor Swift and Keith Urban.
