afterSep 10, (THAINDIAN NEWS) After a long Hiatus actress Milla Jovovich returns on the big screen as Alice, the relentless warrior in the hit sci fi Franchisee Resident Evil. This time she has got another dimension. The newest installment of Resident Evil, named ‘Resident Evil: Afterlife’ has been shot in 3D like many of the upcoming big budget films and the viewers can be a assured of oodles of visual effects. The 3D scenes in the film are of very high quality and as claimed by the producers the team has used the latest 3D technology in the film. Certain fight sequences in the film are truly breathtaking and they keep the viewers glued to the screen.

Milla Jovovich as usual looks her usual self in the role of Alice and despite the weight of age and motherhood she proves that she has not the characteristic agility and on screen prowess. She continues her mission against the truant Umbrella Corporation and faces the biggest enemy. In this film her character is shown minus some of the superhuman powers she had acquired in the past films in the series. The character of Alice also meets with some of her friends from previous films in the series.

The movie is expected to do well at the box office both owing to the inclusion of the third dimension and also for the steady popularity of the franchisee. The trade experts think that this movie will break the records set by the earlier two movies which were certified hits. The film has generated good pre release buzz and the absence of any big movies releasing this weekend may boost its prospects.
