Reports Of Jeff Goldblum’s Death Untrue

Jeff Goldblum fans can rest assured now as reports of the actor’s death have been branded as a hoax by his publicist. The net was flooded with posts of the supposed death, right after news hit the world that the King of Pop Michael Jackson and Former “Charlie’s Angel” Farrah Fawcett have passed away. The shocking news of MJ’s death created quite a flutter and brought back the menace of the Internet Hoax that dates back to as early as 1999.
The false report stated that Goldblum has passed away in a fatal accident that had occurred when the actor was shooting for his latest screen venture in New Zealand. The actor’s publicist, Evelyn Karamanos has released a statement saying, “Reports that Jeff Goldblum has passed away are completely untrue. He is fine and in Los Angeles.” The statement also stresses on the fact that New Zealand police are completely unaware of the fact that Jeff Goldblum is shooting in the country. The New Zealand Film Commission has revealed in a statement to 3 News that they are absolutely unaware of any news of Goldblum filming there.
On Thursday afternoon news had surfaced in the cyber world that New Zealand police had reported that the actor had fallen to his death. The accident had reportedly occurred on the set of the new movie.
A copy of what the hoax site had stated about the death reads like this,”Today is a dismal day for bad news. There is NO online conformation but New Zealand Police are reporting that Jeff Goldblum has fallen to his death on the set of his new movie according to Mediafetcher.com”.
