Reheated ‘Dragon’ returns to top of box-office rankings
April 26th, 2010 - 9:16 am ICT by IANSNew York, April 26 (DPA) The three-dimensional animated “How to Train Your Dragon” reclaimed the top of the box-office chart in its fifth weekend in cinemas, according to preliminary studio estimates issued Sunday.
The movie opened in first place March 28, fell as far as third on following weekends before finishing in a very close second place last weekend. Its Friday-Sunday ticket sales of $15 million were good enough for first place in the three-day period.
How to Train Your Dragon has now grossed $178 million in the US and Canada.
