Washington, March 15, (THAINDIAN NEWS) According to Reese Witherspoon, Michelle Obama is the most stylish woman in Washington DC. The famous actress praised the first lady in a function which was attended by First Lady Michelle Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Reese Witherspoon was in the town to attend the International Women of Courage Awards 2010 where she came as the global Ambassador for the Avon Foundation, which helps in the breast cancer research programs and also works towards stopping domestic violence. Taking the stage, Reese Witherspoon entertained the audience with her witty comments and said in a lighter note that her television character Elle Woods was the “biggest fashionista” to come to Washington but has been surpassed now by Michelle Obama who is considered by many as the most fashionable lady in Washington. Elle Woods is the name of the character played by Reese Witherspoon in the movie “Legally Blonde,” who enters the political circle of Washington after completing her course at Harvard Law School. However, according to Reese Witherspoon, who jokingly complained, the First Lady has overthrown Elle Woods.

First Lady Michelle Obama is considered by many as the most stylish woman in the American political circle. On the occasion of the 4th anniversary of the International Women of Courage Awards, the Secretary of State too reiterated the same thought. Hillary Rodham Clinton later introduced Michelle Obama to the crowd as the most stylish woman. However, the First Lady was humble enough and responded to the compliment by saying that the whole crowd who had gathered for the occasion looked fabulous.
