Reese Witherspoon changed her dress 6 times before meeting Kate Middleton
February 20th, 2012 - 11:32 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattWashington, Feb 20 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Actress Reese Witherspoon has sent out an unusual request to Kate Middleton. The 35-year-old was on Ellen DeGeneres show where she talked about her admiration and respect for the Duchess of Cambridge.
Witherspoon revealed that she saw Kate at a charity event last summer but felt nervous when the two met.
She told Ellen that, “I must have tried on like six outfits. I’m meeting a princess. You don’t understand. You have to be wearing the right outfit and the whole thing… I don’t know, maybe we can be friends. I would like to hang out. I’m not sure she wants to hang out with me. I could see that happening.”
Witherspoon admitted that her husband Jim Toth saw her uneasiness when she met Kate. Nonetheless, she believes becoming closer to the 30-year-old royal will be one of her life achievements.
Kate became one of the most powerful women in the world when she walked down the aisle with Prince Williams in one of the biggest events in 2011. The royal wedding last April was watched by an estimated global audience of nearly 1 billion people.
The couple officially became the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge after the wedding. William is only second to the British throne , coming just after his father, Prince Charles.
