Los Angeles, Nov 29 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Red Hot Chili Peppers have announced their upcoming tour in North America next year. The tour will take place in late January 2012. The dates for the first batch of the tour were announced by the band on Tuesday.

According to the official website of the band, the tour will start at Time Warner Cable Arena, Charlotte, NC on the 25th of January 2012. The concert will be followed by another performance at the RBC Center in Raleigh, NC on the 27th of January. There will be three other performances before the first part of the tour wraps in Memphis on the 3rd of February.

Tickets for the tour will go on sale from the 3rd of December.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers are currently in Europe where they are promoting their latest work “I’m With You.” The band released the album in August and has been promoting it around the world.

Despite the fact that the group has been recognized and nominated to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012, Times music critic, Randall Roberts described the latest album of the group as “a mishmash, lacks a center, and way too often feels duct-taped together from various points in the band’s career.”
