Dec. 16, (THAINDIAN NEWS) After the success of the official mixtape ‘No Ceilings’, fans were looking forward to the tracks of Lil Wayne’s new album, ‘Rebirth’, which was initially slated for release in few days. However, recent reports indicated that the rapper has released a single from the album named ‘Drop The World’ and has scheduled the album release in February 2010. For some reasons, the release date has been postponed by a couple of months but to utter dismay of the rapper, ‘Rebirth’ has been leaked on the web. Though the music world is anxiously waiting to listen to the new tracks of ‘Rebirth’, a handful of his fans are enjoying the new tracks.

Many musical works were earlier leaked on the web by different illegal sources but the reason behind Lil Wayne’s album leak is not the same. Reports indicated that the album has been released accidentally on the internet for some technical errors on the part of the popular store Amazon. As per the reports, almost five hundred Amazon customers who placed an order for a copy of the album, has received it from the store.

The unexpected release of the album has most certainly created quite a big stir. Media sources tried to contact the Amazon officials for their comments on this incident but no one from the store responded outright. Surfacing of ‘Rebirth’ before the scheduled date might have disappointed the rapper but no one from his side made any comment on this issue as of now. They have also not informed the reason for the delay in the release of the album.
