New York, Mar 19 (ANI): The teen, who became a YouTube sensation after her song ‘Friday’ was dubbed to be the worst ever, has said that she feels like she’s being cyberbullied by the backlash the video received.

According to the Daily Beast, Rebecca Black, 13, started feeling the heat after ‘Friday’, which received more than 16 million views within the past week, was criticised for its campy style and annoying auto-tuning.

“Those hurtful comments really shocked me. At times, it feels like I’m being cyberbullied,” the New York Daily News quoted Black as saying.

She revealed the worst comment she’s received thus far on ‘Good Morning America’.

“I hope you cut yourself, and I hope you get an eating disorder so you’ll look pretty,” she said she was told.

Though she has admitted the hatred coming her way has made her cry, she has refused to pull ‘Friday’ from YouTube.

“I decided not to give the haters the satisfaction that they got me so bad I gave up,” Black stated.

And despite all the negativity, the California native still believes ‘Friday’ is an “accomplishment”.

“Even a person that doesn’t like it, it’s gonna be stuck in their head. That’s the point of it. It’s a catchy song,” she added. (ANI)
