Reba McEntire Gains “Female Vocalist Of The Year” Nomination At CMA Awards

Sep 2, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Reba McEntire, the famous country music singer who has mesmerized the country music lovers with her songs for years has made it to the list of five country music singers nominated for the “Female Vocalist of the Year” award at the Country Music Association Award. The announcement of the nominations for this year’s Country Music Association awards was done by the members of the association on Wednesday. Apart from Reba McEntire, the other four singers who have bragged nomination under the “Female Vocalist of the Year” category are Miranda Lambert, Taylor Swift, Martina McBride, and Carrie Underwood.
However, this is not the first time that veteran country music singer Reba McEntire has gained nomination at the prestigious award ceremony. During her long career as the country music singer, Reba McEntire has won nominations around 49 times for the CMA Awards and won it 4 times till date. Fans of the star singer are hopeful that Reba McEntire will be able to make it to the award this time as well. However, there is no denying the fact that the competition seems stiff this year as Country singer Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood have come up with some great songs. Miranda Lambert has gained nine nominations this time at the CMA awards.
As per reports, Reba McEntire is scheduled to release an album titled “All The women I Am” on November 9th this year. One of the singles from the album titled “Turn on the Radio” has already been launched on the web and receiving great reviews. However, it is the Country Music Singers Associations Awards 2010 to be held on November 10 that the fans of the singer are looking forward to.
