Reba Mcentire Entire speaks her heart outApril 6th, 2009 - 11:52 pm ICT by GD
Winning the award for entertainer of the year at the Academy of Country Music Awards was not an easy task for Reba Mcentire. She made her notion clear by stating that it is tough for the females to get the top awards in the industry. Although Mc Entire believes the race to be pretty tough for women, yet she finds females to be performing par excellence. Reba is convinced that females are more theatrical in their performance and that is well proved by viewing any female performance. Reba’s idea was supported by former American Idol Kellie Pickler who feels the the same while looking into the country charts.
Reba hosted the Academy of Country Music Awards already 10 times but that made it no less thrilling when she took the stage again on Sunday. The star was also nominated for the awards this year or her collaboration with Brooks & Dunn, “Cowgirls Don’t Cry,”. Hosting the show for 11th time Reba started off with a few zingers that intended to relate Michel Phelp’s legal troubles with the country music audience. But she even took time out skillfully to debut her new single, “Strange” from aptly doing the job of introducing artists and presenters.
