Los Angeles, May 11, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Alexis Neiers, an aspiring model and a reality TV star, landed in jail yesterday after she was charged with burglarizing the home of actor Orlando Bloom. Alexis Neiers was one of the contestants in “Pretty Wild”, a reality show on E! Entertainment. The 18 year old supposedly committed the burglary last year.

After pleading no contest in court, Alexis Neiers was sentenced to six months in prison. Following her stint in jail, the TV star will also have to undergo three years of formal probation reported the court authorities. It has been reported by the police officials in Los Angeles that Alexis Neiers herself admitted to being a part of the group of teenagers who conducted burglaries in the homes of several celebrities who have their homes in the Hollywood area last summer. This group of burglars had become popular by the name of “Bling Ring”.

Alexis Neiers’ six months in jail will begin from the 24th of June. The “Pretty Wild” show featured the star as one of the three sisters who acquire fame and money by navigating the social sphere of Hollywood. Yesterday in court, the 18 year old star said that she was one of the members in the group of youngsters who ransacked Hollywood actor Orlando Bloom’s house on the 13th of July last summer. However, Alexis Neiers denies taking anything from the house. Along with her, there will be five other people who will attend the hearing in the courts to be held on the 25th of May.
