Reality show ‘Face Off’ aired on Syfy

Los Angeles, Jan 27 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A new reality “Face Off” was shown on Wednesday on Syfy.

The competition on the network is to find the next big make up artists, who will walk away with $100,000 and other souvenirs. The competition would be held in Los Angeles and it will include a series of challenges that will eventually determine who is the best make up artist amongst all the contestants is.

The show’s host knows all about the art of make up. McKenzie Westmore is the daughter of renowned make up artist, Michael Westmore. McKenzie is the one who made her mark in the acting industry with her role in the soap Passions, and she also has a grandfather who is a make up artist too.

McKenzie revealed in a recent interview that her earliest memory of her father’s work was when she walked into her father’s workshop and met the “Land of the Lost” character, Sleestak.

She said that, “I remember turning on the light, seeing that, turning it off and running back up to the house screaming.”

Michael helped create some of the characters of Star Trek. McKenzie recalled how she would walk up to his workshop while he was working on the characters and keep him company.
