‘Real World’ gets extended for two seasons

Los Angeles, Mar 24 (THAINDIAN NEWS) MTV has announced that the hit TV show “Real World” has been renewed for two more seasons. The show has the enviable record as the longest running reality TV show in the United States. There is no indication that the show would be ending anytime soon.

The show’s 25th Season was launched earlier in March in Las Vegas. Casting has already begun for the 26th Season of the show. With the announcement, the 27th and 28th Seasons are now guaranteed. The announcement of the renewal of the show was made on Wednesday.

The announcement was contained in a statement released by MTV. The statement said that, “The Real World’ has remained relevant for 25 seasons because it continues to capture the lives of young adults, hold a mirror to the challenges they face, and truly reflect the current generation.”

The show has mostly featured cities in the United States. Since the show commenced in 1992, only a handful of cities outside the United States has been featured. The prominent ones among them are London and Paris.

“Real World” is credited for sparking the reality TV craze in the United States currently.
