‘Real Housewives of Miami’ star’s son injured in car accident
August 20th, 2011 - 1:24 am ICT by Aishwarya BhattHollywood, Aug 19 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Miami “Housewives’” star Alexia Echevarria is dealing with her son in the intensive care unit. 13-year-old Frankie was involved in a nasty car crash on Sunday. According to sources which spoke to The Miami Herald, the condition of Frankie is serious. He was involved in the accident while traveling in a passenger car.
Alexia is positive about the recovery of her son. On Thursday night, Alexia told her fans on Twitter that, “Frankie’s pelvic surgery went well today thanks to God and all your prayers. He is stable and getting stronger day by day.”
Alexia’s tragedy is the worse that Bravo was expecting. The network is still mourning the loss of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Taylor Armstrong’s husband Russell Armstrong. The police have ruled the death of Armstrong as suicide. He was found hanging in his house on Monday night.
Alexia had Frankie and 18-year-old Peter with her former husband Pedro Rosello. The pair were married in 1992 but the marriage ended in 1996. The two however got back and had Frankie together in 1998. Rosello is currently on probation for engaging in sex with a minor. He has also been convicted for smuggling cocaine in the past.
Alexia is currently married to businessman Herman Echevarria.
