R&B Singer Keri Hilson Makes A Comeback With “No Boys Allowed”

keriDec 22, (THAINDIAN NEWS) R&B recording artist and songwriter Keri Hilson’s much anticipated album “No Boys Allowed” hit the music stores on Tuesday. The singer reunited with producers Polow da Don and Timbaland, who produced her debut album as well. Rick Ross, Chris Brown, J. Cole, Kanye West, Nelly and Timbaland have featured as guest vocals for her album and also soul singer John Legend has penned down a song for the album. Keri Hilson’s new release has received appreciation from the listeners and it bagged good reviews from the critics as well.

The singer is now busy in the post promotion of her album and when asked, why she chose the name of the album as “No Boys Allowed”, the singer was quick to reply that she wanted to give her album a female perspective. However, Keri Hilson said that she also wanted men to give their perspective on certain things and hence many male singers featured as guest vocals for her album. Keri Hilson was also all in praises for rapper Kanye West who worked with her in her hit-song “Knock You Down” and also “Pretty Girl Rock” (from new album). In her statement, she said that Kanye West is a “genius” and an incredible talent in the music industry.

The album “No Boys Allowed” received mixed reviews from the critics. One reputed media outlet reported that Keri Hilson has lived up to the expectations of the audience and she has passed in her attempt. Another music critic has praised her song “Pretty Girl Rock” saying it is good enough as the composition, lyrics and music are soothing enough to ease the ears.
