The Indian television singing competition on Star Plus channel. Ravi Shukla became the Amul Star Voice of India(2) 2008. Ravi Shukla of Delhi was crowned the winner on December 21 by the guest Sonu Nigam and was awarded a brand new car along with a cheque for Rs. 2.5 million and a contract for his first album in conjunction with T-Series.

Most critics consider runner-up Saptaparna Chakraborty, the queen of Sikkim, to be a better singer. Ravi victory shocked everyone. He won by viewers votes.

The show was directed by Gajendra Singh, creator of the famous Sa Re Ga Ma Pa series. The host of the show was runned by Shaan and the judges ; Sukhwinder Singh ,Ismail Darbar and Monty Sharma.

The VOI2 was premiered on 18 July 2008. There were other 23 contestants who belonged to different states. The show used to be held on every Friday and Saturday 22:00 hrs(Indian Time).
