Raunchy moves easier after ‘The Guru’: Jimi Mistry
October 10th, 2010 - 12:34 am ICT by IANSLondon, Oct 9 (IANS) Indian origin British actor Jimi Mistry, who is participating in “Strictly Come Dancing”, hopes the raunchy moves that he learnt for his role as a sex guru in “The Guru”, come in handy to impress the judges of the popular dance show.
The 37-year-old starred as dance teacher-turned sex guru Ramu Gupta in “The Guru”, and made many provocative moves in the film. He plans to use those to attract attention on the dance show, reports thesun.co.uk.
“Doing sex scenes in ‘The Guru’ helped me feel at ease with the raunchier ‘Strictly…’ moves. I’m lucky to have been an actor and have had that experience. Peter Shilton won’t have been used to many clinches on the football field,” quipped Mistry.
The actor, born to an Indian father and an Irish mother, will be performing a ballroom dance number on Strictly Come Dancing” this weekend.
