elvis July 2, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): The admirers of the legendary Elvis Presley have been surprised as three rare photos have been found that depict Elvis well before his overstuffed sequined jumpsuit days. Archivists have unearthed the negatives of the 50-year-old photographs. These photographs illustrate the young vocalist, Elvis, welcoming his aficionados at the entrance of Graceland. These photos were discovered as the archivists looked concentratedly at a massive compilation of papers from the workplace of Vernon Presley, who happens to be the Dad of Elvis Presley.

Angie Marchese happens to occupy the post of director of archives at the Elvis Presley Enterprises. Marchese uttered to the Associated Press (AP) that the negatives were placed in a tiny envelope bereft of any lettering on them. Archivists scrutinized them and ascertained that the pictures had been clicked in 1957.

The three photographs of the then 22-year-old artiste, Elvis, have never been published. Nonetheless, Marchese proclaimed that a fourth photograph from the same sequence has come into view on a restricted basis in periodicals concentrating on Elvis.

Marchese asserted that it is quite unbelievable that they had not witnessed these three photos before and that they were not positioned in their catalog already. Marchese remarked that these three rare photos were taken shortly subsequent to the obtainment of the Memphis manor by Elvis. These photos will be demonstrated at a Graceland exhibit commencing on Thursday, through the finale of Elvis Week on August 16.
