Rapper Nate Dogg dies at the age of 41 years

Los Angeles, Mar 16 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Rapper Nate Dogg has died at the age of 41 years on Tuesday. He had been known to suffer from medical issues from some time. Even though the exact cause of death is not known, yet the death has been confirmed by his family. Four years earlier he had suffered a huge stroke, which partially paralyzed him. Another stroke followed him a year later and he never recovered from either of them.

His real name was Nathaniel Hale but he attained critical acclaim with his stage name of Nate Dogg. He was born on 19th August 1969 in Long Beach. Nate wasn’t much of a scholar and he quit school in favor of Marines. However his passion for music soon encompassed him and he formed the rap group known as 213 with Snoop Dogg and Warren G.

He was an instrumental component of the West Coast G-Funk sound in the 1990’s. Even though he didn’t attain as much success as his peers like Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Warren G, yet he was a force to reckon with, in his own stylish way. For his musical efforts, he was nominated for the Grammies four times.
