Rapper Drake Rocks At The BET Awards 2009

Drake The star studded night of the Bet Awards 2009 was made all the more dazzling by the performance of famous rapper Drake along with his lyrical mentor Lil Wayne. Though a night of tributes over Michael Jackson’s death, the show’s performances ended with a bang when he started his hit number “Best I Ever Had.” He was the total entertainer who showcasing a burgundy cardigan and a jeans was in his casual look, sitting and performing splendidly. The Toronto star made the crowd rise to their feat through his rap. Drake soon introduced his lyrical mentor Lil Wayne who continued to entertain the audience with their new anthem, “Every Girl In The World.” The stage was soon adorned with stars when the other members joined and hit the new number “Always Strapped.”

The recent buzz about Drake is that he is yet still unsigned over the issue of his new album that will come soon but the record level has not been finalized by him.

The host of the show, Jamie Foxx who introduced Drake onstage had performed with the rapper on “The Tonight Show With Conan O’Brien” a week before.

Its being heard that he will be seen on Jaz’s untitled forthcoming single.

22 year old Aubrey Drake Graham is basically a Canadian actor and recording artist who launched his music career in 2006 with the release of the mixtape, Room for Improvement. But his popularity soared when in 2007 he released Comeback Season besides doing a song with Lil Wayne, known as “Man of the Year.” The bet awards also saw performances of Beyonce,and Ne-Yo as well.
