Dec.21, (THAINDIAN NEWS) American rapper Asher Roth is creating a buzz lately as sources are claiming that the young musical artist has openly accepted that he is ‘gay’. Moreover, the rapper is reportedly all set to make an appearance on E! News, where the artist would be openly discussing his sexual orientation. Anticipation is running high regarding the appearance, which is scheduled to take place sometime later this week. Asher Roth’s acceptance that he is gay has also grabbed many eyeballs as the rapper is supposedly the only hip hop artist to have admitted his sexual orientation.

Meanwhile, the rapper had also appeared in a recent gay parade which was held in New York, where he was accompanied by REM frontman Michael Stipe, former American Idol winner Clay Aiken, and musical artist Lady Gaga. Meanwhile, the E! News appearance of the rapper is expected to be widely watched as it has been revealed that the 24 year old artist would express reasons which led him to decide that he needs to come out of the closet and reveal his sexual orientation to the world. Moreover, the rapper is also expected to talk about his experiences after he shifted to what is referred to as the ‘gay segment’ of New York City.

Sources have also revealed that it is Asher Roth who is referred to in the 2008 book ‘Hiding in Hip-Hop: Confession Of A Down Low Brother In The Entertainment Industry’ by former MTV executive Terrance Dean. Moreover, following the rapper’s coming out of the closet, the story can now be viewed in Terrance Dean blog, which has been titled “Asher Roth Admits He is the Gay Rapper From My Book.”
