501 Los Angeles, Aug 9 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Hip-hop rapper and businessman 50 Cent is not as bad as he may seem, he has a humane side as well. The rapper turned actor released his new movie Twelve last week & now he is trying to help a young girl get treated for her leukemia by adding his name to the list of bone marrow donors.

When news came around that 11-year-old Shannon Tavarez, had been diagnosed with the deadly disease, the hip-hop star and fellow G-UNIT member Tony Yayo went to DKMS and added their names to The Match Registry.

The young actress was had featured as little Nala in the Broadway production of The Lion King before her disease was discovered and 50 Cent was reminded of his own son when her heard the young girl’s story.

He said it would be unthinkable if his son was in the shoes of Tavarez and he also added that he will do anything he can to save the girl’s life because he believed there’s a bone marrow match out there for the young girl.

However the girl has a slim chance of getting a match in 50 Cent, as he’s from a multiple minority ethnicity that is equally represented in the bone marrow registry.
