August 24, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Director Ranjith Sankar, whose first movie Passenger was a huge success at the box office, is going to start his next project titled Arjunan saakshy by this October. The young superstar Prithviraj is playing the lead role in this movie.

The director has already finished writing the script for the film. Actress Padmapriya is signed as the female lead of the movie. Padmapriya is also working in another Malayalam movie titled Charulathayude Baaki.

Other actors in the movie include the names like Nedumudi Venu, Lalu Alex, Jagathy Sreenkumar, Salim Kumar, Suraj Venjaramoodu and Anoop Menon.

Ranjith has planned to capture the shots at location in Mumbai, Dubai and Hyderabad.

S Sudararajan is producing the movie under the SRT films banner. Arjunan saakshy is likely to hit theaters by the last weeks of this year.

Ranjith Sankar received the “Best Debut director’ for Passenger in Dubai AMMA Awards. He was also awarded with the “Best Socially Committed movie Director’ for the same movie. Arjunan saakshy is the second movie of the award winning director Ranjith.

With superstar Prithviraj as male lead and award winning actress Padmapriya as the heroine, Arjunan saakshy can be expected to be another big hit movie by Ranjith!
