November 23rd, 2010 - 2:07 pm ICT by Sampurn Wire
And at the present moment, it is the quality of Tamil cinema that excites Ranjith, the most. In a recent statement, Ranjith candidly admits that though it was the Malayalam industry which initially served as inspiration for films made in Tamil, the case seems to have changed with the passing years. It is the Tamil industry that filmmakers look up to for inspiration these days. Though the director is also quick to add that he may be a misfit for Kollywood after having worked for the maximum part of his career in Mollywood.
After delivering a hit with ‘Pranchiyettan and The Saint’, Ranjith will now take a break before starting work on a future project.
