The couple who tied the knot 19 years ago did not specify any reason for their break up. However, the legal documents filed in the court shows that the reason for their calling it quits is state of incompatibility between them.

Randy Travis’ family spokeswoman Maureen O’Connor announced yesterday that the couple has “parted ways” owing to their personal differences. However, the representative said that the couple would continue to maintain a professional relationship as Elizabeth Travis would continue to be Randy Travis’ personal manager. Maureen O’Connor refused to divulge any more details and said that the couple will not comment any further about the divorce and has asked to respect their privacy while they cope up with their difficult situation. A reputed media source reported that the petition for divorce was filed in Albuquerque, N.M. by Randy Travis.

The singer has reportedly asked for equal distribution of their assets. However, he did not cite any reason for their marital split. The media outlets are presently speculating the reason for their divorce. Randy Travis is renowned for his singing and he has won six Grammy awards owing to his wonderful performances. The singer met her wife Elizabeth Travis 34 years ago when Randy Travis won a talent hunt show at the Charlotte, N.C., nightclub. Elizabeth Travis and his first wife owned the night club with her first husband. The couple kept their relationship under wraps for 12 years and exchanged vows on 1991.
