The doctors did not find the cause of death so further autopsies might be necessary to determine exactly what happened to the man who was famously called “Mach Man.”
Macho Man was driving with his wife on Friday when he lost control of his Jeep. The vehicle veered off the road and smashed into a tree. Macho Man was rushed to the hospital after the crash but he died later from his wounds. His wife, Barbara Poffo, who was also in the car suffered minor injuries.
The Highway Patrol team from Florida was on the scene of the crash. They reported that Macho Man and his wife were both wearing their seatbelts when the accident happened.
After the autopsy, the doctors say there is no identified cause of death. Further tests will be conducted on the body and results are expected in some weeks on. Doctors are waiting for the toxicology results to determine the cause of death.
Macho Man was a famous wrester in the 1980s. He is one of the wrestlers credited with promoting wrestling in the United States.
