Mumbai, March 18 (IANS) Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda, more popularly known as Sushmita Sen’s ex-love interest, has denied allegations that he physically attacked a neighbour after a dispute. A case recently registered at the Versova police station claimed that the actor attacked his neighbour with a rod after a heated argument. Rebuffing the severity of the matter, Hooda’s spokesperson Dale Bhagwagar said: “Randeep is probably just paying the price for being a celebrity.”
Bhagwagar explained that the actor had a disagreement over trivial matters in his colony, following which some outsiders took advantage of the situation and filed a false complaint at the police station. According to the spokesperson, Hooda kept his cool.
“The police have been extremely understanding and if truth prevails Randeep will soon get a clean chit from them,” Bhagwagar said. Randeep Hooda has previously worked in movies like Ram Gopal Varma’s “D” and Vishram Sawant-directed “Risk” and will soon be seen in Ketan Mehta’s “Rang Rasiya”.
I have no competition: Manish Malhotra
The king of glitz and glamour, Manish Malhotra, claims that he sees no competition for himself in the Indian fashion industry. “I don’t consider myself among fashion designers. I have my own separate niche,” Malhotra told IANS.
He elucidated: “Apart from being a designer, I have also been an anchor. I will be a director soon. I like doing many things.”
Malhotra recently walked the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WIFW) ramp here for close friend and designer Manav Gangwani. “I have walked the ramp for many friends in the past and I am happy that people still feel that I can be a model.”
Acting is a big challenge: Sophie Chaudhary
Bollywood actress Sophie Chaudhary claims that acting is her biggest challenge. “Music is my passion, I adore music but acting is what I see as my biggest challenge,” Sophie told IANS.
Spotted at the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WIFW), the suave actress she will be seen in Sanjay Gupta’s “Alibaug” and has just completed shooting for her first item number for Sanjay Dutt’s “Kidnapped”. Sophie believes in keeping fit for her films. “I have lost weight lately and I am my thinnest now!” she gushed.
Apparently, she trains hours together for Salsa every day, which she takes very seriously.
