Ranbir speaks about his career

September 20, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): It has been 3 years since Ranbir Kapoor set foot in the world of showbiz and already he is considered in the same league as the “Khans’. At 28-years Ranbir is the youngest superstar of Bollywood. Some people might ask the reason for his sudden rise to fame. The answer is simple; Ranbir has provided consistent performances by giving back-to-back hits within a short space of time. Both “Raajneeti’ and “Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani’ minted money at the Box office and provided him with the impetus to play with the big shots of Bollywood.
So far Ranbir has been extremely cautious about his choice of roles and now he is back with the new movie “Anjaana Anjaani’. Ranbir stars opposite the leading lady of Bollywood Priyanka Chopra in the upcoming flick. Ranbir said that the film’s director Siddharth has been his friend since childhood and he really understands the actor’s mentality. Ranbir and Siddharth have also worked on “Bachna Aae Haseeno’ so they share a good understanding. Ranbir said that Sajid Nadiadwala is a good producer who takes a “hands on’ approach to his work.
This is the first time Ranbir will share the screen with Priyanka Chopra. Ranbir was full of praises for his co-star and said that she was an absolute charm to work with. We are sure that their onscreen chemistry will set the screen ablaze.
