Rakta CharitraOct 21, (THAINDIAN NEWS) All the ardent followers of ace director Ram Gopal Varma had been waiting eagerly waiting to watch his latest movie “Rakta Charitra” which released in theaters all over the nation on October 21. The anticipation surrounding the flick has been soaring since its trailers were released some time back which has been successful in generating extensive hype among the movie-goers. The tri-lingual movie is going to be simultaneously released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu with actor Vivek Oberoi playing the lead.

The film is going to be extremely crucial for Vivek Oberoi who has failed to churn out a hit for quite some time with most of his last released flicks bombing at the box office. The same goes for director Ram Gopal Varma who has been looking for a major hit after most of his last releases getting a lukewarm response at the box office as it failed to live up to the expectations of the audiences. However, this time around it seems that the ace director is all set to silence his critics and make a comeback with “Rakta Charitra” which is extensively being promoted by the producers to make sure that it opens to packed theaters.

“Rakta Charitra” is based on the real-life story of Paritala Ravi, a gangster-politician hailing from Andhra Pradesh who is assassinated by his rivals in the year 2005. The movie is being released in two parts with the first part releasing today while the second edition would hit theaters on November 19. Whether the flick is able to hold on to the attention of the viewers is something that would be clear in the upcoming days.
