July 21, 2010 (Sampurn Wire):”Agle Janam Mohe Bitiyan Hi Kijo’ is getting ready to take a dramatic turn, which will change the present storyline of the show and will be present in a new package. In order to make the show look brand new the channel is striving hard with many changes like entry and exit of certain characters. Few of the characters from the show will be taken off and some new characters will be introduced to give a new touch to the story.

A source says, “Rajshri Thakur and Manav Gohil will be entering the show with very vital roles, which will result in building a new track for the show. Manav will be playing the role of a passionate philanthropist, Dr Shailendra Kumar, whose generosity will not only reach the hearts of his villagers but also to people outside the village. And the role of his wife will be essayed by Rajshri Thakur as Kanchan Devi. She portrays a dutiful wife and mother whose only priority in life is the well-being of her husband and children”.

The entry is expected post the Kaali Raat which is being planned by Gangia (Sushmita Mukherjee). After the leap the story will develop with a new twist. “Laali who will loose her memory after the leap will be influenced by Rajshri’s character and also good times are ahead for Laali (Ratan Rajpoot) as she will be enjoying all the luxuries and comfort for her life and will be finally seen as Thakurain of the family”, adds source.

We contacted Rajshri and she says, “It will be a cameo of about 10 to 12 episodes and there is something for sure to do with the lead as we have not yet started shooting, I have least knowledge about the track and my character”.

While Manav said, “Contrary to every Thakur, my character is that of an educated Thakur, who is very positive”.

The curtain will rise only when the story of the show develops!
