Rajinikanth’s Daughter Soundarya Ties The Knot At Lavish Wedding

Chennai, Sep 4, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Tamil superstar Rajnikanth’s daughter Soundarya tied the knot with Chennai based entrepreneur Ashwin Ramkumar in a high-profile wedding ceremony which witnessed the presence of some of the biggest names of the film fraternity and the world of politics alike. The wedding which was performed as per traditional Tamil Brahmin customs was organized at Chennai’s Rani Meyammai Hall while the rituals commenced from early morning on Friday.
The wedding hall in Chennai wore a festive look as celebrities thronged the venue to bless the newly-weds with some of them preferring to attend the ceremony which took place in the morning while the others chose to grace the wedding reception held at the evening. Throughout the event, superstar Rajnikanth played the perfect father of the bride as he personally welcomed each and every guest who arrived to offer their best wishes to the couple who are all set to start a new innings in their life. With the lavish manner in which the wedding was solemnized with a galaxy of stars attending the occasion, it definitely would not be misleading to describe the event as the wedding of the year.
The list of high-profile guests who were attended the wedding included Union Home Minister P. Chidambaram, M. Karunanidhi , the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu as well as a host of other prominent political figures. Among celebrities from the film fraternity some of the guests were Kamal Hassan, Prabhu Deva, Mani Ratnam, Sridevi and Boney Kapoor while the Bollywood big wigs such as Aishwarya Rai Bachchan along with hubby Abhishek Bachchan were also present at the gala event.
