Rajat Kapoor to host national awards (Movie Snippets)

Shah Rukh Khan New Delhi, Sep 8 (IANS) Actor Rajat Kapoor is set to host the 58th National Film Awards ceremony to be held here Sep 9.

“In Delhi - hosting the national awards ceremony tomorrow (Friday),” Rajat, who is known for films like “Corporate” and “Bheja Fry”, wrote on microblogging site Twitter.

Last year, the ceremony was hosted by Javed Jaffery and Divya Dutta.

Dehradun goes gaga over Imran!

Imran Khan seems to have a huge fan following in Dehradun. Hordes of his fans gathered at the Dehradun Railway Station, where he was shooting for “Mere Brother Ki Dulhan” and the crew had a tough time managing the crowd.

People flocked the sets to get a glimpse of their favourite actor Imran. When the situation became uncontrollable, Imran stepped in. He took the mike and requested everyone to be quiet so that the crew could shoot.

Later Imran obliged his fans by hugging them and posing for shutterbugs with them.

The film, due to release Friday, also stars Katrina Kaif and Pakistani singer-actor Ali Zafar in prominent roles.

‘Ra.One’ final touches leave SRK exhausted

Shah Rukh Khan is busy giving the final touches to his much-hyped sci-fi thriller Ra.One and the hectic work schedule has left the actor exhausted.

“So tired can’t even hit the bed… can’t hit anything. I feel a farishta (angel) watches over my source of energy & resilience. thanx Allah,” Shah Rukh wrote on microblogging site Twitter.

The film is slated for release on Diwali.
