Rajat Kapoor is a very busy man. Donning two hats simultaneously is not a cakewalk for sure. He has four films slated to release this year and has already signed three new ventures. One is titled Josh-E-Jawani, which will be directed by Sharad Kataria. Aparna Sen and Amol Palekar would be directing his other two films respectively.
Without divulging much detail about Aparna Sen’s directorial venture, he confirms,”Both Aparna and Konkana Sen will be sharing the screen space with me.
” When enquired about Amol Palekar’s film, he shed some light on the genre saying, “It is an intense love story where he would be romancing both Antara Mali and Rituparna Sen Gupta.
” Rajat also is excited about his next directorial venture titled Rectangular Love Story where Ranvir Shorey, Purab and Gul Panag are playing the lead roles. However, it is Tere Sang, which he is most excited about. He exclaims, “It was a wonderful experience of playing a father to un-wed pregnant girl.” On asking how he would deal with such a situation if it happened to him in real-life, he says, “I would accept my daughter and try to solve the situation with cool-mind unlike my role in the film.
” Tere Sang will be his first release this year followed by three more releases as an actor and one as a director.
