August 25, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Laboratory (2010) directed by Raja Sen is based on a short story by Rabindranath Tagore. The film stars top-actors like Raveena Tandon, Arpita Chatterjee, Sabyasachi Chakraborty, and Ranjit Mallick among others. Tagore wrote three short stories during his last days, these short stories vary widely from his earlier works. The three short stories are viz. “Sunday”, “Last Word” and “Laboratory”.

The famous Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon will debut in the Bengali film industry in Raja Sen’s “Laboratory’. Raja Sen has a good reputation in the Bengali film industry and he has won three National Awards for his movies in the past.
