Raj Kanwar falls ill; doing well now

April 7, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): On Monday, filmmaker Raj Kanwar had to be admitted to the ICU at a hospital after a health complication came up. According to sources, Kanwar is a diabetes patient and he fell ill due to a drop in sugar level.
As the filmmaker is suffering from acute diabetes, he had to be rushed to the hospital immediately after a drop in his sugar level. Reportedly, there was a sharp increase in the level of potassium in his body. He is doing well now though and was discharged last evening.
Shah Rukh Khan, who was in the same hospital to meet Bobby Chawla, also met Kanwar. He has worked with the filmmaker in Deewana.
SRK, who is known for his humour, joked that Kanwar could start a film there itself, as even Juhi Chawla was in the hospital, meeting her brother.
Some of Kanwar’s visitors include Bhushan Kumar, Kishen Kumar, Luv Sinha, Poonam Sinha.
