Sep 22, (THAINDIAN NEWS) With another Premier brand new television show called “Raising Hope”, FOX Channel is all set to captivate the audience. The show was aired at 9 PM on Tuesday. One of the many new TV shows that FOX channel has introduced recently, “Raising Hope” is a comedy revolving around the life of Jimmy (played by Lucas Neff), who acquires a baby in a one night stand with a murderer. Although Lucas is still a young boy, under the custody of his parents, he decides to take the responsibility of the baby.

Martha Plimpton plays Jimmy’s mother, Victoria, while Garret Dillahunt plays Jimmy’s father, Burt. Other important star casts include Kate Micucci, Shannon Woodward and Skyler Stone and various other close knit characters are in the show. Jimmy, an indisciplined ordinary young guy, acquires a baby girl from a one night stand with Lucy Carlyle, who later turns out to a murderer. As she was sentenced to imprisonment, Jimmy had no other options but to take the child’s custody. Although at one point, it was decided to abandon the baby, Jimmy took a firm decision to raise the baby, who brought a ray of hope and a reason to live, in his otherwise unsatisfactory life. With a flamboyant life and meager sense of responsibility, Jimmy’s confusion and tough moments while raising the baby, has been portrayed humorously.

Produced by Greg Garcia, the writer-producer of the popular series “Earl”, “Raising Hope” focuses on the all those issues, which almost every American has to deal with in their daily life, in a very comical note. Highlighting on matters like how to make money, take responsibilities, find time for family and how to raise a kid, in a busy American life, this show promises to be one which every American can relate to.
