Raima To Be The Female Lead In Tanuja Chandra’s Next Film?

October 12, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): It’s been quite sometime since we heard from the Bengali beauty
Raima Sen, but now she is back. As per sources Raima has bagged the female lead role in Tanuja Chandra’s next film. The upcoming flick will see Raima pair up with Rajeev Khandelwal of Aamir fame. During a recent interview Raima told us that she was at the I-View Film Festival promoting her film Mirch, when she got a call from Tanuja Chandra about the role.
The actress is pretty excited about the new project and is looking forward to working with Rajeev Khandelwal. Raima has not read the script yet but she informed us that the movie will be a thriller bordering on the supernatural theme. The movie is scheduled to go on the floors by December this year and the shooting schedule will be over by January next year.
As for Bengali movie projects are concerned, Raima has signed a new film with the debutante director Aditi Roy, where she will co-star with Roopa Ganguly. The actress told us that the Bengali movie will be an emotional journey for the audience and she will play Roopa Ganguly’s daughter in the next project. Raima is going to romance Ankur Khanna in the yet-to-be-titled film.
