New Delhi, Nov 7 (IANS) Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi Monday watched Lok Janshakti Party chief Ram Vilas Paswan’s son Chirag’s first Hindi film “Mile Na Miley Hum” and enjoyed it.
“Rahul Gandhi enjoyed the film. He appreciated my acting. It is very encouraging for a newcomer like me,” an elated Chirag told IANS.
The Congress general secretary watched the film at Anupam PVR multiplex in the Saket area of south Delhi along with Ram Vilas Paswan, his wife Reena, Chirag and his sister Nisha Bharti.
Gandhi told Chirag he would give him DVDs of the English films he likes.
“Rahul liked the tennis sequences in the film,” said Chirag who plays a tennis player in the film.
The film released last week. The Paswan family had earlier given a DVD of the film to the Congress general secretary.
They had also met Congress president Sonia Gandhi before Diwali, Ram Vilas Paswan, a former union minister and now Rajya Sabha MP, told IANS.
