- Los Angeles, July 17 (IANS) Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe is eyeing his first post-wizard franchise movie role. He is looking forward to play a celebrated photojournalist who was killed in Somalia.
The 19-year-old wraps shooting on the wizard franchise next year and he’s determined to playing British journalist Dan Eldon, who was battered to death in 1993, reports hollywood.com.
“I have a few projects on the boil, but the one that I am really interested in is based on the real-life story of a photojournalist, Dan Eldon, who was only 22 when he was killed by an angry mob in Somalia in 1993… He was a really heroic guy and we are just waiting for the green light on that one. It all depends on the funding,” he said.
