Radcliffe doesn’t want to be a Hobbit
August 20th, 2009 - 4:59 pm ICT by Sampurn Wire ( Leave a comment )Daniel Radcliffe has declined the lead role in The Hobbit. The Harry Potter star has been considered for the role for quite some time, but he thinks someone else should do it.
He admits that while no one has asked him yet, he doesn’t want to do it because it bears too much resemblance to Harry Potter. He doesn’t want his next role to have wizards in it. He thinks Scottish actor James McAvoy would fare better in the role. Both of them have done fantasy films, but since he (Radcliffe) has done more of it, he thinks McAvoy should take over.
