Rachel Weisz renews criticism of Botox trend in Hollywood
October 11th, 2009 - 1:26 pm ICT by ANI ( Leave a comment )London, Oct 11 (ANI): Actress Rachel Weisz has once again criticized aging actresses who resort to cosmetic treatment in a bid to look younger.
“I think it’s strange that an actress would give up the expression in her face,” the Telegraph quoted her as saying.
The ‘Mummy’ star insists that Europe actresses are allowed to mature gracefully.
“Perhaps growing old in front of a camera in Europe is different to doing it in America. Here, there are actresses, such as Isabelle Huppert, who grow old marvelously,” she added.
The Oscar winner, however, is keen to play down her earlier comments about banning Botox .
“I am not belligerent about these things. Everyone can do what they want,” she added.
