Nov 10, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The English screen and theater actress Rachel Weisz and her longtime beau Darren Aronofsky have parted ways after nine years of their relationship. The couple released a joined statement where it was stated that they have separated for some months but they would remain close friends with each other. The statement also read that the couple would be committed to raising their son Henry Chance together.

The media outlets are presently abuzz speculating the reasons for their split. Some gossip portals are of the opinion that the “Mummy” actress has grown close to Daniel Craig while shooting for her upcoming film “Dream House”. When asked about Rachel Weisz’s relationship with Daniel Craig, the actress refused to comment anything about the matter. Even Daniel Craig was also unavailable for comments. However, Rachel Weisz and Darren Aronofsky will seek joint custody of their son. The couple did not cite any reason for their split.

Before her relationship with Darren Aronofsky, Rachel Weisz was linked with Neil Morrissey, comedian Ben Miller, Alessandro Nivola and also Sam Mendes. However, a reputed gossip site reported that Rachel Weisz and Daniel Craig have started seeing each other despite the fact that the “James Bond” star has been with his girlfriend Satsuki Mitchell since 2005. A source close to “Dream House” movie reportedly said that Rachel Weisz and Daniel Craig simply “sparked” during the filming of the movie in Canada. Moreover, reporters have said that the reason for the split can be the couple’s career as they have to stay long periods away from each other for outdoor shooting, owing to the demand of their career.
