As most of us might know already that Rachel Weisz will be portraying the character of Jackie Kennedy in a movie called “Jackie “. Reportedly, the movie will be hitting the shooting floors during the later phase of the year and shall be directed by Darren Aronofsky, who also happens to be the fiancee of the actress.

Undoubtedly, the role of Jackie Kennedy happens to be one of the most challenging roles ever played by Rachel Weisz in her acting career. The movie “Jackie “draws its elements of inspiration from the research studies which focuses upon the four days in between the assassination of John F. Kennedy. Reportedly, Hollywood has already witnessed a string of performances from many actresses who have portrayed the character of Jackie Kennedy. The list includes Joanne Whalley, Parker Posey, Jacqueline Bisset, Stephanie Romanov, Jeanne Tripplehorn and Sarah Michelle Gellar. No matter what, none of them has been able to leave behind a lingering impact which makes it even more challenging for Rachel Weisz to prove her mettle.

Last week it was speculated that master director Steven Spielberg was interested in the Noah Oppenheim script but its now been announced that Darren Aronofsky will be directing and producing the movie with his wife playing the lead. Rachel Weisz will be attending some make up sessions to borrow the look and grace of Jackie Kennedy. The Academy award-winning actress is looking forward to put in her best to portray the character of Jackie Kennedy which has been one of the most graceful characters in American history.
